The apartment was spacious with a great kitchen.

Malin created a new strawberry-canded almonds-whipped cream-desert -very good!

Nice vew from the balcony over the inland waterways.

At sunrise we watched the dolphins passing downstairs at the pier.

The sunsets were magnificiant.

We visited the Seabird Sanctuary where they rescue ingured birds and also bred brown pelicans and reeleased the young birds when they were ready because they are threatened.

In two of the cages there were birds that were victims of the BP oil spill. After they were cleaned of the oil at the cleaning facilities some of the birds had "long term" rehab issues. The cages were boarded up so we coldn't see those birds because congress had passed a new law that forbid the publics to see those rehab birds. So, we understand why the congress can't work on the defecit or anytjing else.
But we managed to get a picture of a bird that sat on the roof :)
One day we went to Tarpon Springs, a greek town where they pick sponges. Another day St Petersburg and the new Dali Museum. Very interresting! We recommend the guided tour!
One day we went to St Petes Beach historic shopping center and spent lots of time and money. Loveley little stores!
Some long walks of the beach of course, even if it was a bit windy that week.
