Sista dagarna i Normandie, Gent i Belgien, Bremen i Tyskland
Pampigt! Promenad utefter Wesel och sedan middag i Rathauskeller. Utmärkt lammstek och husets vin - suveränt gott!
Fyra middagar utmärker sig hittills: biff i bad Homburg, sjötunga i Aromanche, musslor i Port-en-Bessain och nu denna lammstek i Bremen.
Fortfarande sol och varmt.
Imorgon fortsätter vi mot Heiligenhafen.
Last days in Normandie, Gent in Belgium, Bremen in Germandy
The week in Normandie we've learnt more about the second world war and the D-day than we had expected. It has been fascinating, the whole coast is filled with memorials and we have walked around more then 7 Miles a day. Beautiful weather the whole week.
Tomorrow we continue along the coast to Belgium.
We stayed i the old town of Gent. A charming medieval town.
In Bremen we also stay in the old city. Impressive. Walk along the river Wisel and the dinner in the Rathauskeller . Excellent rac of lamb with the house wine - delicious!
Four dinners so far strand out as the best: steak in bad Homburg, filet of sole in Aromanche, mussels in Port-en-Bessin and now lamb in Bremen.
Still sun and warm.
Tomorrow onto Heiligenhafen.
